ABOUT

There is something quite special about a group of friends who come together to entertain. In 1971 Pupils, Teachers and Parents at Kingsbury High School in North West London so enjoyed a production of "The Mikado" that they didn't want the fun to stop, and KAOS was born. A number of members who were in that first show still perform with us today.

KAOS aims to perform at least two productions each season and prides itself on the breadth of its offering, from the more traditional Operettas and American Musicals to modern shows and indeed Premieres of challenging works. These productions are often augmented by Concert offerings which we tour around the local area, often as a fund raiser for good causes.

In Spring 2018 we were delighted to present the iconic classic, "Into The Woods" at the Pump House Theatre and Arts Centre in Watford. We are even more pleased to report that as of May 2019 this Production has been recognised with three significant Awards from NODA for the London Region.

Full details can be found on our Home page.

Like all performing companies KAOS has been particularly affected by the Covid 19 Pandemic. Rehearsals cannot take place, performances in indoor venues are still not allowed in most cases and the prospects of restarting a full production or even a concert schedule in the near future are limited.

Despite this we have had regular Monday Quiz nights on Zoom and the Management Committee have continued to plan for what we hope will be a brighter future.

We always welcome new talent and enthusiasm, and even now if the idea of joining us in a performing or backstage role appeals please get in touch using the contact form, and when we can restart normal operations you will be the first to know!

We look forward to hearing from you.
